Peten Birders Club is constantly working with local communities to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our natural resources, specially bird conservation. We have educated over 200 hundred children in the buffer zone of the Peten National Parks and other protected areas.

Peten Birders Club was honored to support the raptor migration monitoring activities and environmental education programs carried out in the Manos Unidas Cooperative in Sayaxche, Petén.
Through these initiatives, we helped promote awareness about the importance of conserving migratory birds and local ecosystems, while encouraging community participation and environmental stewardship among children, youth, and adults.
